Founder of The Seated Photographers and Project Manager for the Exhibition -"From Where I Sit" - Maureen Jensen

Maureen is an Arts Access Advocate, a passionate water colour artist and photographer. She became an unexpected wheelchair user a few years ago. Previously she was school secretary for the Rudolf Steiner School in Christchurch and worked in an English Language school.

Administration and Secretary - Courtney Gemmel -Courtney is our Facebook page admin and our first contact for communication. Has worked with disabled as a caregiver before retiring to raise her two girls. 

Treasurer - Riki Allison - 25 years as Owner operator Insect Eradication business. He is well versed in Trust matters and will help set up a Trust for the Seated Photographers.

Props/ Designers -  Maureen Jensen (overall visionary) and Riki Allison - Riki home handy man and gardener is responsible for the design and building of the props.

Arts Accessible Advisory Directors - Richard Benge and Dawa Deverauex of Arts Access Aotearoa have been quietly advising and supporting this venture.

Christchurch Team leaders - Jazz Calder and Brett Ladbrook­
Work for NZ Spinal Trust at Burwood Hospital, work with spinal injury patients and their family's through rehabilitation. They offer a peer network connecting local communities etc and will be more involved next year when we tour Christchurch.

Initial Registrations - Cari Mateer - from IDEAS Hamilton office works within the disabled community and has a good understanding and rapport with many potential exhibitors.

Art Director - Anu Sefton - has a BA in Visual Arts and a Post Graduate in Maori Visual Arts. She has won international awards for photography.

Funding applications - Dawn Raine and Maureen Jensen - Prior to retiring in 2016, Dawn was Manager of Rosetown Counselling Centre in Te Awamutu for 12 years. Her position included Funding officer and Contracts manager for Rosetown Community Services Trust who oversee the Centre. She has 14 years' experience in NGO funding applications and 30 years' experience in the disability sector. Currently Funding advisor on 2 NGO trust boards in Hamilton.

Video Editor - Mark Potten - Currently works for Massey University and has commenced his own photography business. His experience in the disability sector includes 5 years with Enable New Zealand and had a grandmother who was wheelchair bound for most of her life.

Poster and invitation design - Dylan Allison - Is multi talented in things IT. He enjoys the challenge of design.

Website designer - Michelle Rodrigues - Professional photographer since 2015. She is Brazilian and has being working to support the disabled's career, helping them to connect with the community.
