Carrie loves travel, camping, fishing, hunting and photography. She loves macro and wildlife photography.

"I am an attorney and a single adoptive mom of four who are now mostly grown. I have congenital myopathy and use a power wheelchair due to quadriparesis. 

I am non-speaking and am reliant on a ventilator. I find birds most accessible wildlife to photograph".

"It is with much sadness we lost Carrie in 2020 to a long illness, but her photos, we hope, will inspire others".
